Voting on Election Day

What to expect.

If you choose to vote on Election Day you must vote at your assigned precinct.  You may use the Voting Location Finder to determine your designated polling place or you may call our office at 850.229.6117 and we will be glad to assist you.

Be sure to bring your picture / signature ID with you to the polls.  To provide for a quicker and easier voting experience,  address or name changes may be updated with the Supervisor of Elections’ office prior to Election Day.  If you cannot provide a picture / signature ID  you will be required to vote a provisional ballot.  If your signature on the provisional ballot certificate matches your signature on record at the Supervisor of Elections’ office, your ballot will be accepted by the Canvassing Board and counted.

If you will need assistance with voting be sure to notify the Election Worker as soon as you arrive.  The Election Worker will make sure that you and anyone you bring to assist you have completed the necessary documents to provide assistance.

An Election Worker will ask to verify your ID and find your information in the electronic poll book.  You will be asked to verify your information on the signature pad and sign for receipt of your ballot. You will then be presented with a ballot to mark you choices.  Please be sure to review your ballot for accuracy before inserting the ballot in the tabulator.  Once the vote is cast in the machine, no further changes can be made.
